Lago Nahuel Huapi: End of summer in Bariloche

Let's put on a cold face

Now let's act like we are flying

Now everybody together
People,
A long week for me, but all in all things went well. We worked and taught people. What made me very happy about this week is that we found a person who is going to get baptized. The week before last we had taught her sixteen and eighteen year old sons and a friend of theirs. They listened and all that but were not keeping commitments. During a lesson this week with the sons, the mother Margarita came in and sat down and listened. I directed the attention to her and we started talking. She said her sons had told her about us and that she was very interested in what we were sharing. She had seen us walking around in the streets and was very impressed about how we work and act as missionaries. She said that she had work, a house, a good family and everything she needs, but seemed to be missing something in her life and what we were sharing seemed to be it. She mentioned we bring a peace to her house. She asked us how she could better understand the scriptures and gospel. So we gave her a baptisimal date for April 21st for which she is preparing, explaining living the gospel will give her the knowledge and peace of mind she is looking for.So as I am sure you know, my companion and I have a hard time working and talking together, keeping us silent most of the time. But in spite of everything I am happy that we found someone who will be getting baptized in a few weeks, with a hope of the family following behind. We are going to work hard this week so Margarita and others can see general conference. We have a member who is going to help us out.
I am hoping for some changes in this district. Obedience and a work ethic have not been a big part of the agenda of many of the missionaries.
Elder Mendoza and Elder Basile completed the Dhorscht family in Alto 2. Now they are all members which is good, and are getting involved in the wards programs.
So everything just splendid in Argentina.
Another crazy thing. March 21st, and that day in particular, the leaves started to change colors. Crazy huh!!. I mean the 20th all the leaves were green. It´s summer. The next day, the first day of autumn, they start to change in a most timely manner.
