People,
This week it snowed a little in my area. There was also a lot of rain
making our dirt streets very muddy. It´s clay and it stick to your shoes. It was
cool to see snow though. Our investigator Alejandra in now reading in Mosiah and
is converted. Sad she can´t get married right now. We felt like marriage
counselors last night as she and her boyfriend told us all of there marital
problems for an hour and a half. What I learned from all of this is 'Boys, the
woman is always right so if you want to be happy just do what she says'. Also,
'Don´t be a pig'. Men here stand on the street corners and wistle at girls while
drinking and smoking marijuana. Sad to see most people act like animals. I
little tired of seeing practically everyone around me cheating themselves out of
happiness by making stupid descisions, but am very happy to see a few people
like Alejandra changing their lives for the better. It is what makes missionary
work worth it.
