Life in Comodoro
In response to Mom's question, "Is it cold there?" Shawn answers: "Concerning the climate, I got here mid winter. It is not that cold. I´m at the equivalent latitude of Emmett Idaho, at a low elevation, and right next to the ocean. It consequently never snows by the coast, and snows very little inland. The only thing that is extreme here is the wind. It´s constant. It blows sand in your hair in ears. For me I kind of like the wind because it´s something new and different. It´s dry and ugly here like central Wyoming. No one wants to live here, but do because of oil."
